Kuwait Emirates Holding Company, a Kuwaiti shareholding company, was established on July 28, 2002. The Company's activities include acquiring shares of Kuwaiti or foreign shareholding companies, lending to companies of which it owns part of their shares, obtaining industrial equity rights, purchase of properties, and the utilization of available financial surplus by investment.

KEH's main objective is to identify investment opportunities in Syria. KEH explores high quality economically promising projects in the real estate, banking, insurance, hospitality and transportation sectors. The Company offers co-investment rights to its shareholders and invites them to invest with KEH to enhance the value for the shareholders and maximize their return.

The journey of the Kuwait Emirates Holding Company (KSH) started in 2002 when Al-Kharafi Group, an international conglomerate based in Kuwait in association with a group of companies and selected business men, to establish a so-called Kuwaiti Shareholding Company (commercial registry number 90716 dated 25/8/2002) with a capital of 30 Million KD for the purpose of project investment in Syria.

The decision of the establishment was backed up by the fact that Syria is full of Investment Opportunities for private sector to be exploited, especially in the light of the positive indicators of its economic development.

The Company's head office is located in Kuwait City, Kuwait, and its branch office is in Damascus, Syria.
